Barden is the middle name of - and the Santa Rita Hills label from - experienced and lauded winemaker Doug Margerum. Fonte is the only blend in the lineup of wines - mostly Chardonnay With Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. Fresh Bosc pear and lime blossom, linen and a little nuttiness, the Fonte is an enigma of delicious, great with grilled flaky fish, chicken and parmigian cheese.
